A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: "Azure, a fleur-de-lis, six mullets arced in chief Or; a bordure Gules." Issuing from the top of the shield is a demi-bezant superimposed by a demi-sea lion rampant, upper body Red and lower, Green. Attached around the bottom of the shield is a Blue scroll doubled and inscribed "DOMINATE THE FIGHT" in Gold.
The red of the border represents Field Artillery and Engineers, blue is for Infantry, and the gold/yellow is for Armor and Cavalry. The fleur-de-lis commemorates the unit's campaign participation credits for World War I. The six stars represent the campaign participation credits for World War II. The rampant sea lion against the sun honor the Brigade's Philippine Presidential Unit Citation. The red on the sea lion represents courage, zeal, and valor, the green highlights the sea and the tropical environs of their World War II service.
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 2 February 2010.
